The charismatic multi-instrumentalist has enjoyed much greater success as a solo artist. His first break came when one of his early EPs, "Freak Out, It's Ben Kweller" caught the ear of Lemonheads' Evan Dando. Dando asked Kweller to join him on the road as a supporting act in both the US and Europe. Not long after, Kweller was picked up by ATO Records who released his following records.
