Featured Venue: The EARL
The EARL
Located on Flat Shoals Road, central to Atlanta’s newest up-and-coming neighborhood, The East Village, parking is a no-brainer with plenty of free street parking and enough pay lots to accommodate overflow from the largest of national shows.
Walk through the front door of the EARL and be greeted with a comfortable and familiar pub setting. Copious amounts of tables and booths line the pawn-shop-décor style room and provide a perfect setting for the first or last stop out on a Friday night. The restaurant/lounge element of the EARL alone is worth the drive but understand that it’s not what drives the local masses to this place of indie-rock-worship.
Only feet away, past the bar and down the hallway, enter the “back room”. It’s own scene within a scene, the stage at the EARL is home to some of the cities brightest breakout acts like The Hiss, Snowden, All The Saints, and The Close. Don’t miss Junior Boys on April 15th at The EARL.

At the epicenter of Atlanta’s bourgeoning East Village music scene stands one of the newer venues to open its doors – The EARL. Spelled out, the East Atlanta Restaurant and Lounge provides a no-nonsense, unpretentious, and eclectic setting to have a drink, grab one of the best burgers in town, and enjoy what is quite possibly the strongest line up of local, indie, and international artists Atlanta has to offer.
