VHS Or Beta tour in support of new record
Hailing from Louisville KY, VHS or Beta has a sound that has been described as “French Funk”, “Indie Rock” and “Dance Punk”. The band's members are guitarist/vocalist Craig Pfunder, bassist Mark Palgy, and drummer Mark Guidry. The band released their first 2 album independently, but Astralwerks took notice and signed the band in 2003.
In the 12 years that VHS or Beta have been around, they have shared the stage with the likes of Duran Duran, Scissor Sisters, My Morning Jacket and Fat Boy Slim, just to name a few. They have had their songs included on movie soundtracks and television programs, such as Grandma’s Boy and the OC.
VHS or Beta is currently on the road to promote their upcoming album, “Bring on the Comets”, slated to be released August 28th.
