Is this not gonna be the sickest?!?
It will be the sickest if he actually touches the mic this time. I was extremely disappointed when he just stood on stage with Hassan Chop and didn't even flow his part on "I Wonder" after the show was billed as FEATURING MF DOOM!!! That coupled with the lipsynching fiasco earlier in the year and 'I wonder" if we will get the show we are jonesin for. Don't get me wrong, DOOM flows the sickest, i'm just getting sick of waiting to see the elusive masked man up close and personal.
Just as I suspected. A bunch of chumps(Jon Robinson not included) that no one wanted to see. At 1:45 the man still had not touched the mic and the crowd was pissed. The opening act jumped off stage to attack an impatient fan and as I tried to help the fan I was dragged out in a headlock and punched repeatedly by the Staff of MJQ. MF DOOM can suck a fart. I will be stopping the charges to my credit card and will never spend a cent to stand at a club wondering if someone in a mask will actually show up and if it will be DOOM.
agreed mike
i saw you get thrown out...we waited to see if he would even show...
rumor was he hadn't made his guaranteed money for the show and thats why everything was stalled...this was a piss poor show...even after MF doom came out, it became apparent after a few songs he wasn't rapping...just holding the mic to his mask...the audio was too perfect, it didn't look like his jaw was even moving..he didn't say anything in between songs or that wasn't already a part of the song...ridiculous....could have been another impostor....i felt for dres the beatnik...he was trying to get shit going...but he was just as confused as to what was going as everyone else...
before this i was a huge MF DOOM fan...now......
yup yup... i was really looking forward to this, i got there at like 9:00 thinking it would be sold out. everybody got hammered waiting for doom, who, like another mentioned, merely held the mic up to his mask. ppl got impatient, started hating, what a mess, it was rough... john robinson stole the show though. he was the only worthwhile act. all in all, what a waste of $25 and a night. i really love doom, but after last night i will never pay money to see him again.

so was this show filmed? post it up!
First of all, Mike is an @$$. He deserved to get kicked out. Second, speculation has it that it wasn't even DOOM. As I understand, there will be a class-action lawsuit for this.
