LAFQ Unzipped at Zipper Concert Hall in Los Angeles
The Los Angeles Flute Quartet perform their fall concert at Zipper Hall in Los Angeles, CA on Saturday October 14th. The performance features the world premiere of 'Westside Story Suite' by arranger, Mark Lathan, the arranger for 'Fantasy on a theme of Mission Impossible', and 'Remember Me' on the quartet's current CD. Also, a Los Angeles premiere of Jeffery Miller's 'In the Air' written with funding from Composers Inc. in San Francisco. The quartest will also be performing a Mozart string quartet K464 transcribed by Charles Andrews from KUSC, and Lisa-Maree's transcription of Joaquin Turina's passionate 'La oracion del Torero'.
Tickets are $20.00 in advance for students and seniors and $25.00 in advance for General Admission.
