We love having a good excuse to drink, and it doesn't get any better than the San Diego Festival of Beer.

The 13th annual San Diego Festival of Beer is sponsored by the San Diego Professional Against Cancer (SDPAC). The SDPAC is a non-profit charity working to raise money for cancer research. So far, SDPAC has raised well over $210,000 for such organizations as Sideny Kimmel Cancer Center, American Cancer Society, San Diego Hospice and others.

The festival itself will take place in beautiful downtown San Diego at Columbia and B Street. This is the oldest and largest beer tasting in all of San Diego, featuring over 50 microbreweries serving up over 100 different beers!

Entertainment will be provided by Len Rainey & the Midnight Players and Night Shift will fill the airwaves. Admission is just $25 which includes 10 tastings and entertainment for the evening. If those other 90+ beers strike your fancy, you can always buy additional tastings once you get inside!

There will also be food available for purchase, so you can plan on spending your day at the event.
